The Young and Lonely Foundation works hard to ensure the rights of every individual they come across.
The foundation does so by teaching and raising awareness of individual’s human rights, through programmes and
general preaching.
YLF works hard to protect the rights of all the children and vulnerable adults in society, ensuring
that they understand their rights as citizens of Ghana and providing them with the vital
information to be able to actively demonstrate their own rights in the future. YLF believe
that these teachings will mould the lifestyles of these individuals as well as the way they behave.
YLF also actively deals with people who may deny these children/vulnerable adults their
rights and freedom regardless of their status.
Plans are currently underway to give education to the general public using the mass
media (Golden Star FM) in Agona Swedru, on the constitution of Ghana. Provisions in the
constitution should be known to all literates and illiterates in the society through the
mass media because it is not everybody that have access to copy of the 1992 constitution
of Ghana and if they do, certain clauses might be to technical to understand. It is on this
ote that the YLF is putting forth this initiative to help all and sundry be aware of the provisions.
We therefore plead with all rights groups and civil societies as well as volunteers and
philanthropists come to our aid so as to make this programme an effective and continuous one.
